Barbara McDowell Foundation Announces First Ever Grantees

The Foundation made its first ever grants on September 30, 2010, to seven organizations for the 2011 fiscal year. The grantees are as follows (click the grantee name to read more about their grant funded cases):

The grantees were selected after a rigorous review process conducted by the staff and Board of Directors of the Foundation.

The Foundation intends to make grants annually by no later than September 30 of each year. The Foundation hopes that funds available for grants will be increasing each year in the future. The Foundation will be embarking on fundraising efforts. To be considered for a grant, the grant application must be received by August 1st of the year in which the grant is being made.
